We are delighted to confirm the progression of our Priaulx coaching team for the season ahead with the promotion of Charlie Le Prevost to Head Coach, supported by Ross Cameron, who today were invited to work together and agree on their respective responsibilities as the Priaulx coaching team.
We have been privileged to have been guided through the past 5 years by Jose and if it weren't for a pandemic, would have been rewarded with the titles and trophies that his tenure deserved.
Only a special coach and person could have navigated these challenges and ensured the continued competitiveness of the North Priaulx side, and Jose leaves a special mark on the club reminding us all that you get the best out of people if you treat them as the complex humans they are, and prioritise well being, enjoyment and love for what you do. Not least of all love for the club that you give up so much of your time and energy for.
For that we are truly honoured and grateful.
The next chapter, though, is an exciting one, as we look to maintain our place as Guernsey's oldest and most successful club by writing a new future, one which builds on that long held principle of being more than a club, not just to those that play here, but to all those that volunteer, coach, cook and clean. Building a community around football is a privilege and brings people together in a way that few things can. For that, we can but do our best as those before us have, and those that follow us will.
Therefore, in the same way we cherish our history we look forward to the season ahead.
